Good Morning Church Family & Friends,
I was hit by this Psalm this morning in my own devotions, and I paused to reflect and thank God for the church family I am surrounded by. I desire us to be known as a people who reflect a grounding of a Psalm 100 community and lifestyle. As we approach this Sunday, I step out of the pulpit for a Sunday to share a service that is overseen and run by the people of the community of Millbury Federated Church. Know that you all have a purpose. You are all loved, and I pray for you all earnestly to shout for praise to God each and every day because GOD IS GOOD!
Psalm 100 is one of the most joyful and direct calls to worship in all of Scripture. In just five short verses, it reminds us that praise and gratitude aren’t occasional responses—they’re a way of life for those who know the Lord.
It’s easy to praise God when life feels smooth, but Psalm 100 teaches us to anchor our thankfulness in who God is, not just in what He’s done. We are reminded that He is good, His love endures forever, and His faithfulness continues through all generations. That truth stands firm no matter what our circumstances look like.
Each verse of this psalm points to a posture of the heart: joy, service, belonging, gratitude, and trust. These are not one-time acts but daily rhythms that invite God into every corner of our lives. Praise becomes the doorway to His presence. Gratitude becomes the language of our prayers. And serving with gladness becomes the overflow of hearts that know they belong to a loving Shepherd.
This week, take time each day to reflect on a verse from Psalm 100. Let it re-center your heart, shape your attitude, and renew your awareness of God’s presence. When we choose to live with gratitude and joy, we not only honor God—we also invite His peace and presence into our ordinary moments.
Let’s make space this week to live Psalm 100: with thankful hearts and joyful praise, knowing that we belong to a God who is forever faithful.
See you all Sunday!
Your Brother in Christ,
Pastor Cory
