The Power of Inward Beauty

Good Afternoon Church Family & Friends,
This week, our focus turns to the wives in the marriage relationship. Just as we explored last week how husbands are called to love their wives in Christ (steadfastly, sacrificially, and adoringly), this week we encourage women (and everyone) to reflect on their inward beauty—the heart that honors God above all else. In a world that shouts that outward appearance and influence define value, Scripture reminds us that true beauty comes from a gentle and quiet spirit, cherished by God (1 Peter 3:4).
True beauty and influence are not measured by outward appearance or worldly success, but by a heart that honors God. 1 Peter 3 reminds us that inward qualities—a gentle, quiet, and hopeful spirit—are of great worth in God’s eyes. When we focus on Christ first, our interactions with others become a reflection of His love. Husbands and wives alike are called to love, honor, and serve each other with grace, but even outside of marriage, cultivating these qualities impacts everyone around us.
As you meditate this week, ask God to help you reflect His love, kindness, and patience in all your relationships. Your character, words, and choices are powerful testimonies, whether in marriage, friendship, or daily interactions.
Can’t wait to share the Good Word this week with you all!
See you Sunday!
Your Brother in Christ,
Pastor Cory
