Living Under Christ Together

ree

Good Morning Church Family & Friends,

Submission often carries a negative connotation in our world—it sounds like giving up control or losing power. But Paul paints a very different picture in Ephesians 5. Submission, in the Christian sense, is about honoring Christ by putting others first. It’s about living in such a way that our homes and our church reflect Jesus’ love and humility.

When Paul speaks to husbands, wives, and children, he’s not creating a power structure but pointing to a Christ-centered family where each person plays a role in raising, discipling, and growing in faith. Husbands are called to love sacrificially. Wives are called to respect and support. Children are called to obey and honor. Together, the family becomes a living testimony of God’s design and grace.

This vision extends into the church as well. We are not just individual believers; we are a family of faith. Every act of encouragement, every moment of discipleship, and every shared prayer helps strengthen the household of God.

When Christ is at the center, submission doesn’t diminish us—it makes room for His Spirit to work in and through us.

Can’t wait to share the Good Word this week with you all!

See you Sunday!

Your Brother in Christ,

Pastor Cory
